The LED panel illuminates according
to the selected setting on the variable
browning control. The display acts as
a toasting progress indicator, counting
down how long is left in the toasting
cycle. The toaster beeps when the
cycle is complete.
An internal smart chip lowers bread
into the toasting slots with a single
touch and also regulates the toasting
time. On the ‘A Bit More™’ setting,
bread is automatically lowered for
additional toasting time.
The ‘Auto Lift and Look™’ feature
automatically raises the bread carriage
during toasting without canceling or
resetting the cycle. This enables you
to view, and if necessary, cancel the
browning cycle at any time.

    I got my 2 slice Smart Toaster after being disappointed with 2 others (one shorted out and one just didnt brown the toast right unless you push it down twice). Why should you have to toast twice? This toaster is seriously the best one Ive ever used. I love that you just push a button and it lowers the toast on its own and I only needed to use level 3 once to have brown toast. It looks great on the counter as well. Its pricey but a great investment and I dont see ever buying another. Love it.

    I would never have called a toaster cool before I started using this one. It is fast simple to operate, and it gives consistent toasting each time.

    I absolutely love this toaster! From the very first use, it was super simple to use and not at all complicated! I especially like the "little bit more" feature - even though its usually toasted to perfection! Yay! No more burnt toast!!
    I also like how the toaster just goes down and up on its own...just like the toaster I grew up with (different brand), that my mum still uses! Let's hope that Breville stands up to the test of time too! Thanks Breville!
