I've had this machine for over 5 years and am very pleased with it's performance.
It's great that it is stainless steel and as it looks a nice as the day I got it. I did have to go out and buy a tamper as I found the one provided a little hard to use. But other than that the machine itself gives excellent results.

I'm looking forward to eventually upgrading to the BES860XL, but the way my machine looks and performs it may be some time before that happens.

Note: The frothing aid is ok to use, but instead of the big bubble frother, I enjoy more the microfoam milk and have since removed and stored the frothing aid. With a steady hand and eye, this machine can make some great looking microfoam.

I have made some nice rosetta's and some nice latte art with this machine. It would have been nice if we were able to include photo's to show you what kind of results you can get with this machine.

"Very satisfied with this espresso machine I own since 2007. It makes perfect créma on each espresso, heat up quickly, easy to use, easy to wash and it's reliable.
But you need to use a good grinder to get good results. I often had blocked filter when using a low end "competitor" burr grinder (grind was not consistent). Since I use the Breville conical burr grinder, problem solved. "

"Seems like I am having problems with the filter like a lot of people do with this machine. It starts to clog up and is impossible to clean. Want to order another one but the American site does not allow you to. The Canadian site does not even give you the option. Great machine but a paperweight if I can't get a replacement filter....!
